The 2008 Ginetta Championship Racesuit

The DMB Racing 2008 Ginetta G20 Race Car

'DMB Racing' is the brand name for me, Debbie Bennett. I am a female racing driver from Hampshire.

Last year I competed in the 2007 Formula Woman Championship. The aim of the Championship was to find the best female racing driver in the UK.

Thousands of women entered the Formula Woman Competition at the beginning of the year and (after several gruelling tests) I was chosen as one of the top 16 women in the country to participate in the Championship. Please see the 2007 Season page for details. The car of choice was a Caterham Roadsport.

Thanks to a great deal of support from my title sponsor, KnowledgeCenter, I was able to race for the full season with financial backing.

I have now completed another year of racing in the Texaco Havoline Ginetta Championship, racing a Ginetta G20 race car. My season was unexpectedly cut short due to sponsorship funding, however you can find the race reports here.

Season/Sponsorship Update

Unfortunately, due to the current economical climate, my sponsors can no longer provide the original stated funds. I am sad to say that my 2008 Season is now over. Paid for track days will still be going on when requested, but there will be no more races for me.
