Qualifying at 11am. The track was dry still. Set some good times and managed to qualify 5^th on the grid – my best qualification so far this season and about 2 seconds off the leader pace.

The race started at 3pm. There had just been a short shower so the track was a little greasy but there was a dry line. Sitting on the grid waiting for the lights to go I got pain in my foot and had to dip the clutch. Just at that moment, the lights went out and I was left behind a little, letting 3 cars past me before the first corner. Annoyed with myself, I got right in with the pack and had a great race! Christine Holmes overtook me one lap, but the next I re-gained my 8^th place. She overtook again, but then overdid it at the end of the pit straight and headed off over the grass. I regained my 8^th place again! We played this game for the rest of the race and eventually I took 8^th place over the finish line. I was really happy with the way the race had gone and pleased with 8^th place. On my fastest lap, I was only 1.424 seconds off the fastest lap set in the race. Felt good after the race, although exhausted!

Race 6: Qualified 5^th. Finished 8^th.
